On Tuesday November 3 South Korea raised the H1N1 flu alert level to red.
The number of confirmed cases has doubled in the past few weeks because of the cold weather.
42 people have died since mid-August.
Last week an average of 8,000 people caught the flu PER DAY!!
The government plans to vaccinate 35% of the population.
