Kim Jong Il is dead
The North Korean leader Kim Jong Il has died. He was 69 years old.
I wonder how this will affect North Koreans? Are they happy or sad that he is gone? I think South Koreans might think this is great news.
What does this mean for relations between North and South Korea? Will they be the same or will things improve? Will Jong Il's son rule differently?

Dutch Architects Spark Outrage with Design Resembling Twin Towers

Americans are outraged over a high rise building that is proposed to be built in Seoul. MVRDV,a Dutch architecture firm, calls the building 'The Cloud'. Americans think that it resembles the World Trade Center on 9-11. The buildings are connected at the 27th floor which bears a resemblance to the debris from the World Trade Center. The firm has apologized saying that it wasn't their intent. Even though they have received a lot of angry comments and phone calls they haven't said they will change the design. The building is scheduled to be completed in 2015.
