The Seoul Lantern Festival began in 2009. There are hundreds of paper lanterns on display at Cheonggyecheon Stream. The lanterns are made by local and international artists.
I went on November 9, 2014. There were a lot of people visiting that night. It was so crowded and hard to move around at times. Sometimes you had to wait for a good moment to get a good photo because of the crowd. It was good to see all the lanterns. The artists are very talented! This was my 2nd festival. I went to the first one back in 2009.
